Losses to Graduation:

Robert Palumbo, Our best shooter and one of the people to keep our program alive, losing Rob is a big blow. His competitiveness drove every one to get better.
Amanda Bernstein, A very cerebral starting attacker for CCNY, Amanda and her ever consistent game and attitude will look to be replaced by her freshman successors
William Jack-D’Alessandro, A dedicated young man who came on very, very strong towards the end of last year leaves our midfield with one less two-way threat

Outlook for 2018:
Benjamin Variano and Carlos Cruz-Perez are our Captains this year. I am looking for our team to collectively take the next step toward being competitive all game long for every game. Our attack will be much improved with our freshman additions. Our team Defense will be lead by Carlos Cruz-Perez as we look for improvement on our goals per game average from last year. We will sorely miss the contributions of our senior class, especially what Rob and Bolu have done for our program in each and every way possible. Saif Ibrahim (Jr./M) will look to step up after being out due to injury in the fall. We will also look for our do it all middie Giancarlo Zirpolo (Jr./LSM) to take the next step.

We are very much looking forward to our annual Rivalry game with Columbia as well as playing Fordham for the first time in a number of years. We are looking forward to our three weekday night games and a renewed enthusiasm in our program on all fronts. Our depth will be tested over the 9 game schedule so it will be very fun to see who steps up over the course of the year as we look to get better each and every day.
