All Pro President’s Poll Week 5

The seasons have changed, despite what you may see outside your window, but not much has changed in this week’s DI All Pro President’s poll. For the 5th consecutive week, the Terps Lacrosse Club holds the number 1 ranking with a 5-0 record. Michigan and Delaware break into the top 20 at 19 and 20 respectively. Ohio State and North Carolina fall from the ranks of the top 20. UNC will look to rebound on Saturday as they take on Blue Ridge Conference opponent and 5th ranked James Madison. Sunday features the marquee D1 match up of the week as 2nd ranked Navy Club travels to 3rd ranked Penn State Club.

West Chester, maintains the top spot in the DII poll. Kutztown jumped 3 spots to number 3 this week and picked up a number 1 vote after posting a 3-0 record at Cabrini’s Main Line Classic on Sunday. Akron moves up to the number 6 spot after a thrilling OT win over number 12 Kent State. However, it was VMI who was the big mover this week, jumping from the unranked to the 11th spot in the top 25. The Keydets, who are featured on this week’s NCLL Podcast, boast an impressive 8-2 record after a 4-0 weekend at the Main Line Classic and snagged a number one vote.

With most spring breaks in the books, the coming weekend boasts a full slate of games and teams will finally hit the fields in earnest, ready to ditch their tights and break out the ankle socks.
