Rowan’s Lax for Donnie Tournament Keeps Co-Founders Memory Alive

Rowan University played host once again for the annual “Lax For Donnie” Lacrosse Tournament, to keep the memory of their fallen co-founder alive, and to raise scholarship money for men’s and women’s lacrosse players at the school.

Donald Farrell was just 19 when he was attacked and killed outside of his campus apartment almost a decade ago. In 2010, Ronnie and a few friends formed the initial Rowan Club Lacrosse team which later joined the NCLL.

The perpetrators have never been captured.

We spoke to Rowan Team President Ian Rattigan in between games to find out more information about the tournament and to get caught up on Rowans 2019 season.
